  • > Silvy Weatherall
1968
Working from her studio in Galloway, Silvy Weatherall finds use for objects that have lost their function or have been discarded: feathers, disarticulated animal and bird skeletons, old jewellery and broken ceramics. When brought together in her artworks, these articles demand attention in isolation; their beauty and the unique characteristics of their forms are given prominence.
