Jennifer McRae b. 1959



Jennifer McRae studied at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen. After graduating, she worked at Edinburgh Printmakers. She moved to London in 2002 upon acceptance of a bursary placement at The Prince's Drawing School. Jennifer McRae has won many awards and scholarships, some coming with travel, too, enabling her to visit France, Belgium and Italy. She has exhibited in both the United Kingdom and the United States and her work can be seen in several public collections including that of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh. Jennifer McRae is best known for her portraits, but her work also includes land-and city-scapes and still lifes.
